At Shopify, I led design for Shop Minis, a new developer platform on Shop App, Shopify's consumer product serving 100M+ buyers. As part of the leadership group with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Data, I helped set the strategy and direction. In under six months, my team and I established the platform's foundations, principles, and guidelines and shipped a developer toolkit (an SDK, UIKit, and documentation) that let thousands of merchants build immersive shopping experiences.
Shop Minis are immersive, full-screen buyer experiences within the Shop app, enabling developers and merchants to create custom shopping experiences on mobile using a React SDK that reaches millions of shoppers instantly.
